My greatest tip is to put aside just a little money each week to use on yourself. For years, like myself, you probably denied yourself the money. You deserve a little something for what you have done in leaving your partner and leaving behind the abuse. Just a couple of dollars each week will soon add up to that movie ticket, art gallery pass, lunch with a friend, nice bottle of wine or even new pair of shoes.
